Hi, I’m Lyla Torres

I’m a Graphic Designer with a BFA in Graphic Design, focused on brand identity, visual systems, and experiential design. I’m drawn to work that balances clarity with personality. I like things clean but not sterile, bold but still intentional.

Before design, I spent almost ten years working as a professional dog groomer in fast paced, client facing environments. That experience shaped how I work more than anything else. I’m detail oriented, quick on my feet, and used to making decisions under pressure. I care a lot about process, trust, and creating work that actually functions in the real world, not just in a presentation.

My work leans toward the raw and the textured, but it always has a purpose. I’m interested in branding that feels grounded and memorable, whether that shows up in packaging, digital design, or physical spaces.

Right now, I’m looking for junior level graphic design roles, freelance projects, or collaborative work where I can grow within a team and contribute thoughtful, hands on design solutions. If something here resonates, I’d love to connect.
